A must-see Texas short independent film
profiler123 May 2013
A wonderfully written story by Cedric T. Smith surrounding the lives of breast cancer survivors that speaks loudly of enduring friendships and passing on a family legacy. Nana's Brunch is the venue where all the action began and endures many dozens of years later. The characters are each unique individuals with layers of warm, serious, fun, a little crazy and such stuff as women are made of. The production crew and the actors were all fabulous and quite an honor to have been able to work with them on this short film. A Remi award winner for original and dramatic, this is a fine Texas film! Audiences will get a true sense of the great talents in the Central Texas film industry. There is no Cedric T. Smith film that will not make you think, search your soul, and keep sharing what you have experienced.
