There was a slow build up since they had 100 characters to introduce, but they way they did it was very nice and organic. We're introduced to a variety of mostly Korean atheletes and celebrities. Think bodybuilders, cross fits enthusiasts, fighters and wrestlers with some other from suprising fields. There are a few spriklings of other natiionalities. The aim of they show they say is the find the one champion out of all the physisiques invited. Not much action this starting episode, but they introduce us to the first pre-challenge. None of the competitors know what to expect and the stakes are raised when the prize is announced. The suspense and set design give squid game like vibes. Excited to watch the next episode.
