Ladar procedures
kennethfrankel21 April 2023
The Ladar equipment was hand held out of the helicopter. I would think that it would be mounted so that the data would be more consistent. They mentioned "ghosts" - perhaps the Ladar picked up part of the helicopter or the operator's body. For a perspective view: The movie "The Enemy Below" (1957) involved an American destroyer escort following a U-boat. The DE was hiding at the 180 degrees position. The U-boat would think the radar signal was a ghost echo in heavy seas and ignore it. So the idea about picking up a false signal is nothing new. The U-boat would make random changes in speed and direction, and the DE would match that to keep the 180 degrees signal sort of the same. After a while, the U-boat accepted the signal as a ghost echo, but they might still shift course and speed just to be sure. That did not help much since the DE knew the U-boat was in front of them.

Another good episode.

The big shock for me was that Travis was head of the UAPTF for the Pentagon. The rest of the team are probably wondering what Travis is "NOT" telling them. My guess is that Travis knows everything the Bigalow team knew as former head of the UAPTF.

This phenomenon is happening all over the world. Just today, I read on Fox News of cattle mutilations in Texas. These followed the same pattern as other cattle mutilations, and the circumstances made me think of the cow that died in season one of Skinwalker Ranch. It died of Bovine pneumonia brought on by stress/fear. Perhaps the aliens are curious as to how the cattle can detect their presence, so they are studying them. They are good biosensors.

It could also mean that the cattle developed the fear of aliens by their interaction with them, and this fear is encoded in their DNA. For this to have developed in cattle, there would have had to have been a long interaction between cattle and aliens for thousands of years.

The 1.6 GHz thingy is the aliens calling card. Oddly enough, the number 1.618 is known as the Golden Ratio found throughout all nature and the universe. The Spiral of Archimedes has this number in the spacing of its layers. Our own galaxy has a spiral shape. This ratio is also found in the Fibonacci Sequence. As Travis said, these things have been around for thousands of years. The UAPs are seen in art, and on petroglyphs.

My prediction is they will not be able to explain the phenomena because it is beyond our science, but it is worthy to watch because it gives people information about the aliens.

Worst episode of the lot
SciFiEntertain12 September 2023
I have watched this series since it began. Some episodes are entertaining and grab your attention. Other episodes are corny & neglectable!

This episode is a complete circus of an amagimation from the last series to this series that does not make sense?????

So your man from ancient aliens was supposedly brought in on this whole skinwalker ranch thing to be the lead even though he's not the lead investigator!

In this series they begin by sustains that he was used by the American congress to investigate everything just before covid hit and he wasn't allowed to tell anyone he was involved in government coverups.

Travis Taylor is an actor. He follows script and pretends he has information that's been passed on but is never able to tell because he's full of baloney! I could walk in to a room with him tomorrow and take a test on what he believes he's an expert on & tear him apart with his ballaly!

LIDAR is not used to detect airborne phenomenons
FFL_19584 September 2023
LIDAR is used to penetrate an area in the ground. Gets rid of soft materials like plants. It will uncover old monuments, walls, entire cities,... This entire episode did one thing: show some red dots on an image. To me, if I detected a phenomenon above the ground, I will start digging the ground and find whatever is there causing radiation or whatever it is all the way into the air. But people on this show are fixated on the effect and not the cause. Travis loves putting things on the air: rockets, drones, helicopters,... on s01e01 the security guy was against digging in the ground and that was it. They are avoiding digging as much as possible. Every person has an iPhone. When an iPhone with the broken glass malfunctioned nobody ask to see a 2nd phone. Really?

Also, why wasn't the Lidar installed below the helicopter? You need precision when using that equipment. Having it on someones hands feels like a horrible idea to me.
