Real Humans.

Mexican comedian Sophia Niño brought an excellent idea into fruition, and implemented it nicely. I developed an authentic liking to each one of the participants, practically as they were first introduced. Not only are they "Human Beings first," who happen to be inmates; in this show, they're unfiltered in their vulnerability and emotions. The culmination is particularly beautiful, but truly, each episode is permeated with well-timed personal accounts. I would love to see how the participants develop thereafter. Would absolutely watch more seasons, and if the same concept was implemented in other cities, or countries.

The complexity of humans

I wasn't expecting this show to be as good as it was. It mixed Drama with laughter really well and presented real people serving time in jail. You develop an insight into the complexity of humans and how people that did crimes are actually just regular people that did mistakes with grave consequences.

I would not recommend watching this as comedy if you're into that type of mood. This is more like an anthropological, social documentary with comedy. The female lead, comedian Sofia Nino de Rivera is an excellent host of this show and one of the funniest Mexican comedians I know of. Definitely watch if you're into interesting rather than commercial stuff.
