Santa Mike Takes A Snow Day

Huge improvement over last weeks' episode. The opening sequence alone (before the credits) was better than last weeks entire episode and just about as long. The music this week was outstanding.

Why a street-smart guy like Mike (Jeremy Renner) has ANY positive feelings for that tramp 'Iris' (Emma Laird) is beyond all comprehension, as he goes on a cruise down Whiskey River. 'Iris' still thinks she's 'special.'

The remarkable turn-around with Dianne Wiest's character 'Miriam' continues to be a delight.

The King's back! 'Bunny' (Tobi Bamtefa) gets his ticket to ride.

A trip to the dentist goes very badly.

I've never seen anyone earn more doing less.

Warning: Spoilers
Finally, after a few episodes of nonsense filler we have an episode with substance. Every character is fantastic.

We got:

Mikes Big day off! "Whiskey...on the rocks need to stay hydrated today"

Bunny's Freedom!(Finally!)

Ian and Charlie go to the dentist. "thank you for the French air!"

I even enjoyed iris arc, and i usually don't. "I've never seen anyone earn more doing less." ( understatement of the century for the life of that character.

Although I still have 2 episodes left of this season to watch, I can tell there is so much more we can get out of this show. I just love the characters and the setting and the overall story.

I hope other viewers share my same excitement for more.!

This was horrific slow burn

Binging this show and I love it.. but what the hell is the point of this entire dumb episode outside of Mike taking a day off, and utilizing a psychopath to intimidate a rat witness I simply don't know why an entire episode of 44 dragged out minutes to get to an attempted Aryan Hit and for his brother to find out where Iris is.

Overall compared to season 1 this has been a dragged out snore fest but this episode is utter filler.

Doesn't add to any build up in meeting Milo .

Someone please explain what the point of it was. Certain story arch's simply being dragged out for no purpose at all. Is there some unstated rule a season that could be done well in 8 episodes needs to be dragged out to 10?
