Adrian Lester is the mischievous narrator in another charming animation. Quentin Blake's Jack and Nancy might be a tall tale but it could just be true.
Jack and Nancy have been hearing stories from local sailors about all their exciting adventures. They have brought with them exotic animals and fruits like mangoes.
Both of them wait for the day when they can have their own exciting adventures. Then one day as the walk on the cliffs there is a gust of wind.
A sudden storms picks them up and blows Jack and Nancy and their umbrella to a tropical island.
Now they are castaways as they explore their new land and see new animals. They soon long for home. They then spot a ship out on the sea. It could be their ticket home.
They see a chance to return home. However the ship is carrying cargo to the other side of the world. It could be some months before the ship heads home.
Maybe Jack and Nancy could use their umbrella to sail home instead.
There is a touch of no place like home from The Wizard of Oz about this story.
