LeBron sidelined for the Lakers, eating popcorn. Brooks is in the Grizz lineup to hound the perimeter, but he really hurts them at times being a low percentage chucker. Kennard's a good pickup for them for that position and he hits a 3 to end the 1st term, the Grizz up 4. Davis is controlling the paint defensively, but the Lakers are turning the ball over too much to capitalize and up just 3 at the half, despite the poor shooting by Memphis. Morant looks way too comfortable on the floor and what do you know, he completely takes over the game in the 3rd, putting up 28 points in the quarter. Breaking the franchise record and kicking Memphis out to a 9-point lead. Jackson with a nasty put-back slam and the Lakers can't answer, the Grizz home by 12. Memphis shot marginally better from the field, but only 19% from 3. The Lakers at 38%, +9 on the boards and had more production at the line. Memphis took care of the ball though with just 6 turnovers, while the Lakers had a catastrophic 26. Morant with a 39-point triple-double, 10 assists, 10 boards and 2 steals. Bane 16 points, 5 boards and 4 steals. Tillman 18 points, 11 boards, 7 offensive and 2 steals. Jackson 16 points, 7 boards and 4 blocks. For the Lakers, Davis 28 points, 19 boards, 6 offensive and 5 blocks, but 5 turnovers as well. Reaves with an efficient 17 points and 7 assists, off the bench. Walker with 21 points and 4 boards, off the bench as well.
