Oshi No Ko. What a pleasant surprise for a first episode. I'll be completely honest, as a blind viewer going into this, I thought it would've put me to sleep within the first 10 minutes. Boy was I dead wrong. And for the first episode to be a staggering 80 mins. I wasn't sure what direction they were going, but my jaws were on the floor from the last 15 minutes. From the way this is animated and the vibes it was giving, I was really thinking it was gonna be another generic slice of life. The closest show I can compare this to with the fact that it seems really childish at the start but abruptly gets dark and violent out of nowhere is Invincible. I don't know how but they've only released the first episode and it already feels like a completed film, this is an exceptional masterpiece of a pilot as it gradually sets up the storyline for the next plot points to develop and I'm looking forward to it.

PROS -
- Gorgeous animation (eyes in this anime are literal eye candy, the fluidity of the pop idols choreography, its studio responsible for this is definitely going in with great care and maximising details in the animation)
- Strong storyline.
- Every character is interesting
CONS -
- That post credits scene was too much man :(
