I dislike the sixth season of the show. It has one major storyline and it keeps on moving at a very slow pace. You can't distinguish episodes anymore as the whole season is one big "To be continued". I may love the Mandy/Meemaw dynamic and I like how mature Georgie has become, but I really hate the season's structure. Let's get to the episode. Mary's storyline with Brenda was a much needed one because various things keep happening to the Brenda/George/Pastor Rob/Mary love triangle (?) but we haven't seen any real tension since two episodes ago but that kind of went nowhere. So, good job writers, there. The Georgie storyline was great. I love him with Mandy so I'm rooting for them. He just became 18 and Sheldon said that he married his first wife when 19 in season 1, so she will probably say yes. The Sheldon and Missy plotline was great. We saw the siblings bond over the Beverly Hills soap opera and it was great fun! Overall, the episode had some good jokes. I laughed my ass of with the Deep In The Heart Of Texas ones. So, to sum up: 9/10 because it is a season 6 episode but it was really good and I hope for more of the same...

I love it how the writers wrote Mandy & George relationship so beautifully. That's so realistic and heart melting. I wish they both had their own series or dedicated episodes.
So well thought out story with such a strong message for all those loosers who back out from their responsibility.
Can't get enough of this story. To be honest I forward only to the parts where both of them are together in a scene and watch over and over again.
Actually these characters are as powerful and compelling as are the actors portraying so beautifully.
Can't wait for the next season. I hope they release it as soon as possible.

Slow but some good moments

While the characters had some good interactions in this episode, the show's overall story arc still seems to be moving at a slow pace.
The episode sees Sheldon and Missy bonding over classic 90s soap opera Beverly Hills 90210, which I found important in the sense that Sheldon reached out to connect with Missy (even if he didn't know that's what he was going).
Georgie continues to show great maturity with his life decisions, and might be about to get rewarded for it.
Unfortunately, despite these moments of interest, the show's overall story arc still feels like it's moving at a slow pace. It can be frustrating to watch, as the show seems to be taking its time getting to the meat of what it wants to explore.
