I feel they kind of forced the Sam and Alex fighting in this one. Maybe that is par for the course in a relationship like I am sure he will argue, but it just felt unnatural and not in the true voice of any of the characters.
But we got to Sam actually doing her job and preparing for a big article and I will always applaud shows that go the route of showcasing people doing their job. The workplace should not be a a background setting that has no impact on the characters, it should be a driving force and a key motivator of storylines, and for at least one episode here, we got a glimpse of that, bad interviews and all.
