It is such a shame because I feel like Kylee Dayne and Mary Kate Connor are both talented singers, but getting saddled with a Taylor Swift song is just the worst. I say that statement not merely because I cannot stand her music and personality, but it is never the kind of music that opens an artist up for a big performance on a show like this. There are not enough spots for the glory notes that people need to win here.
The song choices in the other batltes were kind of all over the place too, but I appreciate the shorter one hour episodes better. That is definitely the sweet spot for The Voice.
