This documentary vividly depicts the lives of young Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints who give 18 to 24 months of their lives to preaching the gospel. The documentary is mainly set in the Chorley area of the United Kingdom and follows the lives of selected young men and women and their families back home. We watched with a group of friends and were moved by the individual stories of challenges and success. We were most impressed by the care and concern of the Senior Church Leaders who are responsible for the care and management of these young people as they serve. The documentarians gave a fair and balanced overview and have made a very good film which has been shown by the BBC in the UK. We look forward to its U. S. release.

I was impressed by the real life stories of three young missionaries as they begin their missionary service in the United Kingdom. Uncomfortable questions are handled openly as these young people reflect upon their own lives and their own families and their own personal testimonies that brought them to making a personal decision to serve missions.
We just returned ourselves from serving a senior mission in England. We interacted with junior missionaries every day. This documentary could have been about any one of them! The mission leaders depicted in the film were representative of the care and concern they have for each of the young sisters and elders that have been assigned to their care.
