Car Fix was one of the shows I liked most on MT because it had 2 knowledgeable guys (Jared and Lou) fixing cars without the scripted "reality" nonsense seen in most of the other shows on these networks. Jared and Lou are irreplaceable, but yet they are now gone. Did they ask for more money and MT wouldn't comply? Did the network want more silly banter from the hosts and they were unwilling to comply? Who knows?
These guys worked really well together. For those of us who work in job shops, these were 2 guys you would love to work with.
I just watched one of the new episodes with an old FJ wheel hub being turned, and the thing was obviously not chucked up centered in the lathe. Good enough? Yikes!

Bring back Jared and Lou

Brad and Jeremy are technically competent, experienced, masterful builders, but their on-screen energy just doesn't measure up to the standards set by the previous hosts. Since the host change, the show has focused exclusively on outlandish, intensive custom builds, speaking to a narrow audience of specialized knowledge. I miss the old format of highly technical procedures on common cars.
Give them a chance...

These guys have way big shoes to fill. They're trying to get their s**t together. Putting some of the goofy aside, their tech stuff is well done on some cars most of us wouldn't pour that last mouthful of Bud on. I'd have to watch 5-6 shows to decide. They got to this point - give em a shot.
Loud and Jared gone!

Jared and Lou Santiago were the reason I turned in. Their chemistry was fun to watch. Replace them at the cost of the show. I don't care who replaces them, I'm done watching this show. I look for them on something else and will tune in then.
Funny and informative

Car repair shows run a gambit from being almost purely technical to barely showing repairs at all. CarFix feels like the perfect blend of 'wrench' and 'wit.' Jared & Lou, the show's 2 hosts, have a great chemistry that feels effortless and genuine; not forced like a lot of other similar shows. The show has a good variety of cars and projects which keeps it from getting stale.

10 Minutes of Bryan Fuller is all anyone can take!

Although Jarrod and Lou never really completed the cars they worked on due to the 30 minute air time, they were entertaining to watch. They were both knowledgeable and worked together very well. Bryan Fuller has starred in a bunch of car/bike shows and they all were canceled after the first or second season. I just deleted my DVR recording for this show.
C'mon... replaced Lou and Jared???

No thank you.

Just sat down to watch my favorite show and it didn't take the entire episode for me to realize the new Car Fix was not for me. I've been a fan of both Lou and Jared since they were both on different shows. I'd like to think that they both moved on to bigger and better things but it's quite possible it was a network decision. If the latter I think it will prove to be big mistake. Judging by other reviews, I'm not alone. With so few good shows for car guys it's just very disappointing. I'd leave zero stars if I could.

I'll watch for a while, but so far I'm not thrilled with the cast change. Bryan Fuller has great qualifications, but his overacting is juvenile. Jeremy Bumpus is OK. Unfortunately, this pair don't match up at all with Lou Santiago and Jarod Zimmerman.
No Jared and Lou, no Car Fix

I loved Jared and Lou when they were the first hots of Muscle Car on (then Spike TV's Powerblock) and it went down Hill after they left. Low and behold years later I stumble upon Car Fix. PRAISE BE THE LORD, Jared and Lou are back!!!! I loved every episode, watched them numerous times and always liked they came up with neat builds and even did simple episodes that showed how to do simple repairs that anyone could undertake. They had GREAT chemistry and every episode was a joy. I go to my DVR and what's this? A new episode of Car Fix!?!? Yay! Then I read the description. Who the hell is Bryan Fuller. Why is Jeremy Bumpus from Trucks! in the cast picture for the show. I hit play and my world comes crashing down. No more Jared and Lou. An enjoyable episode has taken a sad and dark turn. After about 5 minutes of Brian I bailout, never to return. Well it was great while it lasted. Guess I'll have to delete yet another show from my DVR. Hopefully Jared and Lou have moved on to bigger and better things and we can meet again, but as for now I'm done with Car Fix.
Bring back Jared and Lou and I will give you 9 more stars

There are plenty of shows out there that show building custom cars. Showing how to work on a car that might be something a friend or I would own is what drew me to the show. You have ruined it with the new cast and the new format!
