The film introduces a promising concept but is let down by its execution, featuring an average storyline and a screenplay that often lacks luster. The comedic attempts largely miss the mark, with only a handful of scenes managing to elicit genuine laughter. However, it's worth noting that the pre-climax sequences do stand out for their quality. The narrative suffers from repetitiveness in parts, leading to moments of tedium.

Among the highlights is an engaging rain dance scene, though an attempt at a memorable projector scene falls flat. Performance by Harsha shine through as commendable bringing depth to the role, while the rest of the cast does their best with the material provided.

The direction of the film shows signs of inexperience, possibly exacerbated by what seems to be a constrained budget. This combination of factors suggests missed opportunities in elevating the film's overall impact.

Wasted opportunity

After reviewing the movie trailer, I am optimistic about its potential due to its unique characterization and comedic elements. The initial few minutes of the movie are promising, indicating a strong start. However, the movie struggles to maintain a consistent level of comedy throughout its duration. While it incorporates message-oriented dialogues, their integration into the movie feels disjointed and lacks cohesion. The movie would have significantly benefited from adopting a consistent comedic style throughout. Additionally, there are pacing issues, with certain scenes feeling unnecessarily long and dragging.

First Day First Show with "Sundaram Master"
ram-marthi23 February 2024
Well, it's a Friday, fag end of the week, it's a time when the big screens ring in the big money in South India, its festival here when a film releases, especially in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, when it has a super cast, star director, correct marketing strategy and all the masala you can imagine, amidst all this drama there are also films like "Sundaram Master" with simple yet serene story, subtle yet strong content and storyline as its hero. This film has no big bonanza events happening around it, rather was plain, simple, like a cool fresh light forest breeze that flowed through our soul on a stressless wonderful evening. Kudos to Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, for picking gems like this and then giving them a life. A new age of Cinema is dawining into a wonderful young cherub, spreading wings across the spectrum of navarasas (9 states of emotional empowerment), without makeup, without artificial heroic stunts, without masala/ 'kurchi madata pedatti' songs, with plain simple stories that can touch our inner soul, again like the cool fresh light forest breeze from lush greenery covered mountains.

This has clean comedy that tickles and entertains your funny side all the while at the same time, building a light greedy plot in the backend, how a village in the lap of nature tackled such greed and digested it, is this film all about. You will not feel bored for a single second while watching the film, you will feel pure, happy, serene and fresh by the end of the film. You will feel like you just woke-up from a nice dream, every artist played their part nicely. Such films are very much necessary for our lives to just remind our true self, again to awaken that child who is sleeping within us.

This is that kind of a movie that may not make huge hit at the box office but would be a blockbuster at the OTT. Again a new era of Cinema is taking on, who's hero is its story, which is classified more like a directors mark on world cinema platform, more subtle, more clean, more naïve, much relaxing and in tune with reality even though it is hypothetical.

The tag line of the movie is , if you get rid of Unnecessary materialistic thoughts from your brain . The world looks more beautiful and u get more close to the nature around you where you experience the fulfilment .

The message is delivered flawlessly and in order to appreciate it one should get rid of all that unnecessary garbage from the mind .

Watch it and enjoy the bliss it creates .

The selection of cast , the innovative approach , subtle comedy and most importantly the realisation it brings are simply amazing .

I bet it's the best ever performance delivered from sriharsha and he proved that he's way more than just a simple comedian .
