I agree with the other reviewer who said what an absolute disappointment this episode was. I don't mind the cheesy host, but the judging in this particular episode was the most ridiculous and so unfair. For them to put the first two through when the judges didn't select a cake doesn't mean they were fooled, they just didn't press the buttons fast enough. The fact that the judges didn't see that the printer was cake is just stupid. They sent the best cake baker home in the 3rd episode and I can't get over it. The energy of the show has gone way down. I've been watching this show for entertainment without too much invested, but I'm still unhappy about it.

I made it through season 1 even though the host is terrible. I made it this far in season 2 and I'm done. 3 absolutely trash cakes that win because the judges don't even make a guess..? Then the best lady thats been on this show is eliminated by default. After she made a crab that's more realistic than the real crab, I can't help but think it's rigged and they didn't want her to bulldoze through to the win. Well, you shouldn't have cut the one good part of your show. Either way, the luster of this show is gone with her and all that's left is a cringey host, laughably poor judging and unnecessarily long episodes. Pass.
Destroying Decoys

Aside from the most annoying host, weird judging choices, weird win choices, ... Why is it now becoming a thing to destroy the decoys and make them all messy so their own cakes will look better (as messy, or better then in comparison, I would assume).
This is really digging itself further into the abyss. If all of that is up in the game now, then what's next? Put cake on the decoys? And it's evident that others took note, because in the following episode the decoy destroying is back.
Waste of materials, waste of cakes, unfortunate waste of watch time, even though I already skip through most of these episodes.

I loved the first season and the fresh format, no need for eliminations and was so bummed about the change but i stilled gave it a chance. You get to this episode and suddenly it is ok to destroy decoys so your cake looks better? Isn't it the point to make a cake so good that it looks like the real clean/new thing? And then the judges forgot to make a choice and that made them win? And then they eliminate a great contestant.
Also they only get 2 decoys, it is way easier to find the cake than last season, really unfair to the new cast.
It's literally crazy, this episode makes NO sense and i won't continue watching.

Seriously, the judges this episode is freaking dumb. Change the judge system. This is unfair. Liz is one of the best but got eliminated because the first two, who were worse btw, got lucky!
Episode 2 judges are good, just use those people for every episode if you care about quality. This has been super unfair. Really really ridiculous.
How hard is it to keep consistent judges throughout all the episodes? This shouldn't be hard. But for some reasons they keep inviting dumb people who cannot even notice uneven bases, or uneven lines, and keep saying "oh it's hard, it's hard!" Like... No it isn't hard especially this episode's first two cakes because they were terrible.

This show is just getting out of hand, it feels like it's become more about making the decoys look worse instead of making the cakes look better.
We're here to see impressive cakes that replicate real life objects, instead they're just dragging the decoys down to match their mediocre cake decorating skills. This leaves other contestants that follow the spirit of the show at a major disadvantage. Not worth watching, I would recommend anyone reading this doesn't waste their time, give your kids a pile of fondant instead, you'll probably get the same results.
Beyond that, the judging system is absurd. With only 1 decoy in the first episodes, if a contestant perfectly replicates their object, the judges pick at random and they have, at best, a 50/50 shot at "fooling" them. This means that even the best contestants can easily get unlucky and lose, making skill less important than luck.
