What went wrong ??
neimad_tao25 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Espana used to be a great franchise, but since season 3 it all feels over produced, the judging is not adequate from what we see, the judges are over confident and condescending most of the time, even the queens are meaner toward each other... I don't know, I get bitter every time I'm watching it, I didn't in season 1 and 2, the over all atmosphere shifted.

And this season is the worse, for all those reasons, and the treatment of Sagi was hard to watch, she might be a brat but that was just bashing from production, from how everyone kept demising how she felt (with reasons about the horrendous judging), all the queens pressing her to apologies "better" while seeing she was in destress and kept going, questioning her integrity while she's been probably the realest this season, to Supreme telling her she's not free to leave ? Like what ? It all felt fake and over-produced.

They need a big shakeup...

When a drag franchise decides to focus on the bullying rather than the Drag!
keith-john-alger20 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Across the Drag race franchise there have always been the odd dodgy episode, but this series should come with a disclaimer. The production on this series is abysmal. The queens are so talented that it is annoying that the series concentrated on the bullying of a contestant who was not in a good place. If this is the future of Drag Race Espana then it's the last series from this spin off that I'll watch. Another annoyance is that thanks to the production, it seemed obvious who the winner was going to be. When it comes to the final, you've got to be a lip-sync assassin to win - no matter how good you are at everything else the queens do, if you are not a lip-sync assassin you've lost. I'm not against a lip-sync episode, but it needs to be earlier in the series. The quees are absolutely fab, but the production and the acceptance and even promotion of bullying are beyond the pale!

Too much favoritism
izharcarrera21 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This was terrible. Normally we enjoy drag race España.mucho favoritismo, estoy no fue al la buen hora. Porfavor esto no fue. You can tell from the beginnings that drag sethlas was going to win. You can always tell when supreme knows them outside of the actual show. While the premise of the show intrigued me, I couldn't help but feel disillusioned by the blatant favoritism exhibited towards the winning drag queen. It became evident as the competition progressed that certain contestants were receiving preferential treatment, overshadowing the genuine talent and efforts of others. This biased approach tarnished the integrity of the competition, making it difficult for me to fully engage with the show. Despite the vibrant performances and creative challenges, the outcome felt predetermined, leaving a sour taste in my mouth. In a fair and impartial competition, merit should reign supreme, but alas, this was not the case. Ultimately, the show's credibility suffered due to its apparent favoritism, diminishing the enjoyment for viewers who sought genuine competition and unbiased judgment.
