A HOLE new story

I remember this Postman Pat episode from children's compilation videotape I had called "Calling All Toddlers" with Kipper the dog, Thomas the Tank Engine: Thomas' Train, Paddington Bear Goes Underground, Fun Song Factory, etc - think it was the second show on the videotape after Kipper.

I couldn't be wrong that this is first episode of second series (after some Postman Pat specials like with the tuba, the barometer and Postman Pat's Bus) and Carole Boyd gives speaking role for postmistress Mrs Goggins, Miss Hubbard, Dorothy Thompson, and many children characters. I don't like how some Postman Pat episodes have more screen time with the children characters

Some issue with involves roadworks and diversions placed for Pat to drive around in circles.

Regardless what PC Selby is doing his job as policeman, it's complete exaggeration over a "baby" pothole in road where Thompson ground - even Alf questions that it's what fuss about.

Even Selby is an idiot himself to accidentally caught in freshly tarred surface Ted Glen put in, so he leaves his shoes behind while he's pushed away in a wheelbarrow.
