The first part was very strong, the second part continues in the same vain, with a very satisfying conclusion.
Coup de Grace, the final blow or shot delivered to a wounded or injured animal, the mercy shot as it were. That title has more of a relevance then you think, as you learn the identity of the killer, and understand their motives.
The solution comes as a real bolt oit of the blue, one I didn't see coming. The interest once again lies with the clash between Police and phorensics. Lorraine Ashbourne is once again terrific as the DI, Michael Socha again excellent as David. This time round I think it's Tobias Menzies who steals the show.
Credit to Nikki, I mean is that woman ever wrong?
I thought this was excellent. 9/10
