This episode 5 from season 4 of "AMC's", "Shudder's" "Creepshow" series called "Something Burrowed, Something Blue/Doodles" were two interesting tales with twist and drama and they lived up to the blood and gore of the series that is so common.
First up "Something Burrowed, Something Blue" involves Frank(Tom Atkins from the 1982 original and "Halloween: Season of the Witch") as a wealthy old man who wants to connect with his forgotten daughter and her new husband. He makes a promise to his new son in law that involves a red monster like eating pit it's like a digest and layover to hell! Only things twist and backfire for all as they find out you have to time it just right as to when the pit is ready to eat and digest!
"Doodles" involves a young girl who's in Seattle trying to make it big as a comic sketch artist she's trying to get her works in a magazine. Only things don't go her way she soon discovers that when she doodles with a pen that it turns into some bloody and gore like handwork red like paintings, only her gory talent brings doom to all. Overall again another good episode with gore, and twist that lives up to the nature and feel of the series.
