The worst movie of the year.
indritymeri19 November 2023
They (producers) have the resources to come up with something beautiful and still manage to offer a trash picture to an uneducated audience. We expect from them to raise the standarts, not to lower.

Except 2-3 actors everything else is weak. Starting from the story, screenplay, directing etc... Pity because the cast has even some old albanian actors that are very good but in this movie are just shadows.

The movie doesn't transmit clear messages. There are characters that pop up in the story like mushrooms and then fade away without motive. Speaking of motive, many situations aren't motivated at all. Many scenes are forced and there are just a very few that made me laugh.

I am hoping that the production will raise the standards in the next movies because our audience deserves better ones.

Warning: Spoilers
What did I just watch. This was the worst script ever written, the weakest acting, with the most dissapointing screenplay. This movie makes Mamaqi and Kallaku seem as if they are Spielberg or Tarantino. I cannot even describe the filth that I just saw. Horrendous, dissapointing and disgraceful. Top channel should just declare insolvency after producing this garbage. Storyline was nonsense, there was no message delivered, scenes were the most random, a 2nd grader could record them on his phone. There where only two punchlines from Olta Daku and Luiz's "father" which somewhat produced a couple of laughs, otherwise this was the worst 90 minutes I ever spent. Too bad imdb does not allow 0 stars.

This move was just extra support for Luiz Eijlli.

Someone need to explain the cast that not everyone just because is Local famous can be an actor.

If you want to support Luiz please better send the same amount of ticket price directly to his bank account,so at least you save your time from watching this movie.🙏waste of time Im not negative ,just im trying to be realistic.

No professional.

Not enough dialogue. A lot marketing

Yea it was kind of comedy but with erotic jokes.

The message:-Only children can save marrige.

-The good thing about the movie that i vote 1 star for was nice colours.

Good time at the movies.

Comedy has always served as a mirror reflecting society's idiosyncrasies and absurdities. The movie does exactly that, fearlessly poking fun at Albanian societal norms, challenging stereotypes, and pushing the boundaries of political correctness; some of the scenes are unprecedented in Albanian cinema. Keep in mind, comedy, perhaps more than any other genre, is very subjective. What tickles one person's funny bone might leave another cold. Dismissing a movie based on personal taste neglects the richness that comes from embracing diverse comedic expressions. Hating popular things doesn't make one cool, and it's very much yesterday's fashion.

Warning: Spoilers
It looks ridiculous that this movie is getting rated 1 or even 10 from so may users. I believe it should be more like a 7+.

The Good things about the movie: All actors are great, even Ejlli (a non professional) is not bad, at least I was expecting much worse. Sara Hoxha stands out, a very heartfelt performance. Olta Gixhari is also very good, although her performance is not the same level all the time. Kudos to Luan Jaha and Ylber Bardhi, they are not only great actors, but have built funny and distinctive characters. Overall, all characters are good and believable.

There are few cliche-s for a rom-com, which in itself is a genre full of such.

There is almost nothing pathetic in the script (although I have some reserves for the script, see below).

It is shot beautifully, locations are great (Korça, a delight), costumes are nice.

The retrospective scene of Jonida (Olta Gixhari) is shoot nicely.

There are a lot of laughs, and the night I saw it the audience laughed all the time.

The plot has a lot of turning points, and if we want to talk about messages, there are a few: Aria calls her own decisions in life, despite being pushed by her parents to "settle" in their way. The marriage need to be unburdened by the false image of perfect families imposed by our elders - no couple is perfect. Also, it looks cool that the phallus myth is being "cut".

There are a couple of interesting directing choices, as well as some pointless ones.

As for the bad things: The end is rushed. It should have been more elaborated.

The B story, the one of there romance between Aria-Kleidi, is much better then the A story (the one between Jonida-Besi). The later one lacks more development, either.

The music is no good. The main song, also not good.

The editing is basic.

Hidden advertising, in some cases offensive.

Dramatically unsatisfying

Not just waste of time, dramatically unsatisfying

Bad story Bad acting Bad or abusive language

Great expectations, big delusions.

The one thing I would note with disappointment is that we were so eager to laugh and to be affected with emotion especially with sympathy but instead it implies depression.

Judging by their body language most of the actors maybe were good for theatre scenes, not for movies. (Excluding 2-3 of them)

Most of the dialogues doesn't come naturally, is like obvious they are acting, hard to feel envolved into the scenes.

The characters also have different accents and kind of force themselves into a certain accent which looks fake and forced.

If you can keep both eyes open through the whole movie without fast-forward you're a better person than I am

Tina Treska.
