A very nice journey.

I enjoyed very much this journey in the Occitanie: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.

There are some interesting aspects of this region: the countryside and the agrotourism ( the farmer Marie Duffo showing her goats farm three times a week to visitors, the walk to the meadow and the interest of the children for the goats, Jean-François and his donkey farm, Sarah from New Jersey helping-wwoofing system-the making and eating of a ratatouille), Sylvain Luis, the substitute farmer ( the work on the farm of Stéphane and on the dairy farm of Thomas), David Savatier the rural veterinary (the dairy farm of the cattle breeder Laurent),the Mirandaise cow ( Julien Soulé and the rescue of this local cow), the Gascon hens (called also black hens of Astarac-Bigorre ( the tenacity of some farmers for the rescue of these hens-the famous "poule au pôt of the King Henri IV-, the chef Vincent Cassassus cooking a Gaston hen in the restaurant of Auch), Lucille Martin and the breeding of buffaloes for their milk (the making of mozzarella and the selling this cheese in a village celebration), the new agricultural technologies ( the cattle breeder Véronique and the automatic feeding and milking of the cows,Lucas Tricolet and the drone used for the biological pest control of the corn borer with Trichograma in the maize fields-the spreading of 30 hectares within a hour-, the engineer Franck and the OZ-robot for the weeding in the vegetables fields) and the museum of tractors and agricultural machinery ( Benoît and the restoring of old tractors, Sandy the mechanic and the modified tractors races).

I enjoyed the encounters of Ismaël with Céline Chemla at Arreau and Aulon, with Alix Vigouroux at Aulon, with Clémence Bodin in the shepherd cabin , with Cécile and Manu Guichard (the donkey farm and soap laboratory), with Clémentine Heulin at the castle of Lavardens, with Sandrine, the barber of Lavardens, with Océane Hodent-the cabaret dancer-, with David and Laetitia Caumette at Garrigues, with Marion Sarle and with Marc Abramovici at Castéra-Verduzen; nice encounters with very kind French men and women.
