Horrible
muratmihcioglu5 December 2023
Asif Ali was kinda okay but the rest, I couldn't even keep myself engaged to whatever it was they were trying to do. I skipped through the second one, hoping someone better might follow. But with Gianmarco Soresi it got even more unbearble.

I thought that absurd obsession with toxic wokeness and forced identity politics was over, yet Netflix still pushes victims and abusers of that neither-funny-nor-meaningful agenda as actual comics. Please stop it, Netflix! This is a dead end. People who are not able to see reality, those who live about mistaking themselves for some beacons of higher moral grounds, cannot do humor!

Why would anyone not watch for the zillionth time Friends or Seinfeld or Everybody Loves Raymond or anything by Bill Burr, Louis CK, Nate Bargatze, and instead try to watch THIS?

I don't want propaganda concealed as lamentation. I want jokes.

Yikes. Just Bad. These are "open-mic" level hacks

Being Netflix, it seems like they would have the scouting ability to find quality comics. This two-part series is exactly like watching newbie hacks at an open-mic. A couple have potential to be decent, but they'd need years more work. I've seen funnier local comics. Why would Netflix produce this? It's like when you have to sit through the cringey opener at your local comedy club. Netflix! Stop giving specials to rookie hacks. There are so many brilliant veteran comics who deserve this exposure. I miss the days when comics had to actually do the work before they landed on your television. It was a nice quality control. Nowadays, Netflix is handing out stream time to literally random hacks. Skip this.

Beautifully real

This is a perfect example of pure stand-up. It's uneven but fun and sincere and slightly unpolished. It's like a true good comedy club experience.

Enjoyed the selection of comics and hope they continue this. Ignore the snowflakes trembling over the jokes about race, gender, and sexual orientation - not sure they understand comedy.

My pithy review is too short so "tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in its petty place from day to day, to the last syllable of recorded time, and all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death. Out out brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets.his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing"
