The forests are on fire and not even torrential rain can put them out. Two old farts are the only characters but they know their stuff. Everything they say is true. The dudes know the answer to what happens when the forests are gone. The only question is when.
This film puts everything into perspective. We can kid ourselves as much as we want, recycle plastics, save the whale, drive an electric car, fly to climate conferences, strike on Fridays, glue ourselves to the M25, throw paint at the Mona Lisa, but there's no escape. We will never put out the fires. I always knew this, but it took this film to bring it home to me.
