This movie has 28 cuts but 26 different shots. Very high craft, organic cuts/shots, the way each shots leads to the next, Its all super smooth and professional. The lighting is. On point as well.

Annika only says 2 words but you can feel her presence, definitely some of the best acting Ive seen a in a little 3min short. Not sure she whipped tho haha

The idea is def basic, but I think that's the point this is like a little Lights Out, set piece practice. I watch a lot of these on youtube and this is def one of the better ones easy, even with less story.

Sound design and mix was on point. 4.5/5.

an artist in night

Indeed, predactibility can be the weak point of film. The good point is the acting of Annika Foster, offering reasonable dose of credibility to artist looking for a stranger in night. Good point, in same measure, is the realism of story ( the nightmares of creators , preocuped by their work being a real fact ).

The end, off course, it is the familiar one. But nice detail remains the drawings itselves and, especialy, the story suggested by them. Not ignore the small slice of poetry of story. And, off course, the precise details of search for intruder.

So, not spectacular but just fair short horror .
