Mavs @ Nuggets, Dec 18 2023.

Warning: Spoilers
Dallas with quite a few players out, most notably Irving. The Mavs put up just 20 points in the opening term, Denver up 8. Dallas starts knocking down 3's early in the 2nd, after hitting none in 1st, but the Nuggets bench gives them good production. Doncic hits back to back 3's, then tougher back to back 3's, yet Denver still holds a 9-point lead going into halftime. Caldwell-Pope with good individual defense on Doncic, then gets out on the break for the contested hoop. The Nuggets kick away to an 18-point margin going into the 4th and extend that lead further. Denver shot lights out, 54% from 3, with more production at the line. Both teams took care of the ball, the Nuggets with just 8 turnovers and +3 on the boards. Gordon an efficient 21 points, 5 assists and 5 boards, without a turnover. Jackson an efficient 20 points off the bench, no turnovers. Murray an efficient 22 points, 4 of 4 from deep. Jokic a quite night, with 8 points, 7 assists, 9 boards and 2 steals. Denver's starters not playing hefty minutes. For Dallas, Doncic an efficient 39 points, 8 assists and 11 boards, but got no help. For the non-offensive sort of lineup the Mavs put on the floor, they didn't play any defense. Like why's Curry playing 7 minutes, not putting up a shot... He ain't injured.

3. (Dal) L. Doncic, 2. (Den) A. Gordon, 1. (Den) R. Jackson.
