Flawed but still entertaining.

This was a pretty enjoyable drama and love story. My enjoyment was tempered by my thorough disapproval of the heroines actions and the actions of the "other man." I don't like adultery in my heroines unless it is excused by bad behavior by the husband and in this case it is not excused. I didn't like any of her choices until the end. The fact that getting an organ from another person would cause one to reject a loving husband and become attracted to the grieving widower of the donor was just too preposterous for me to swallow. This was much better done in Return to Me with Minnie Driver and David Duchovny.

Hallmark/Lifetime cheesefest.

The dialogue has all been dubbed on in the studio, and badly at that. It's like watching a French movie but listening to a group of English voice actors in a studio. It works well when the Americans do this with Japanese monster movies, but not when the English feel the need to do it over their own mushy dramas!

As for the movie, it's appeal is to desperately lonely women who watch wet, sappy TV and hope that by doing so their own lives will become more interesting.

The acting is soap opera level as is the ludicrous plot, insanely annoying music, childi-like dialogue and ongoing deluge of cliches. It's just bloody awful.

Warning: Spoilers
This review does indeed contain spoilers!

When I first saw the trailer for this on YouTube by chance, I decided to look for it on the internet hoping to find it and thank god I did! I didn't know it was a miniseries of 2 episodes. First I saw episode one and I fell in love with the characters and the story. I have to admit that what I really liked the most was the love between Elizabeth and Andrew, I didn't much like the husband. However, in episode 2 the husband's character started to appeal me more but I was already head over heals for Elizabeth and Andrew. I loved their love much more in episode 2, there were really some passionate scenes between the two. Although this little series had righteous ending as she chose to give her marriage a second chance, I still wanted her to end up with Andrew. I mean Gideon is so handsome and their love scene was amazing and their kisses were amazing but then again the ending was good and decent.
