A nice journey.

I enjoyed this journey in Omann: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.

There are some iteresting aspects of Oman: thhe frankincense.(Salalah, the capital of the province of Dhofar, Fatimah and Nahala-the incense vendors-, the harvest of the frankincense by Musllem, Ghanim al Shanfari and the Frankincense Land museum-the story of the frankincense trade, many religions using the frankincense-, the Amouage perfume, the visitors of a family breathing frankincense, the spreading of frankincense in the houses and in the clothes), the after-petrol era (the diversification of the economy, the promotion of the tourism, Pascal Beaudemoulin-the tour operator-), the cattle breeders ( Saif, the camel breeder for the camel races, Hammoud El Doki, the horse breeder, the purebred Arab horses, the arena of Barka and the bull fights (bull against bull), the pride to win fight) and the Bedouins of Oman (the sedentary Bedouins of Mirbât now fishermen, Cheikh Mabrouk Ahmad chief of the Massan tribe in Ubar-the houses, the water and power supply, Saïd Al Mari and his wife Samti in their Bedouin camp living the nomad life and receiving tourists for camel rides).

I enjoyed the encounters of Sophie with his guide Quais Abdulaziz ( the panorama of the Djebel Akhdar-the Green Mountain-), with the people in the cattle market of Nizwa, with Hamad Said in the camp near Bidiyah ( the camel ride in the desert, the quietness of the desert, the delicacy of the sand, the evening with traditional dances), with the men in the cafe of Soûr (the tea with ginger, milk and sugar), with Emilie (the visit of the Gran Mosque Qabouss and of the souks of Mascate; veri¡y nice encounters with very kind Omanese men and women.
