As an American I heard about the concept of birth alerts for the first time when watching Diggstown and thankfully the practice has been outlawed. Allegiance deserves a US home and deserves a little bit more buzz in its native country, but episodes like this give me hope that it will find that one day.
I just worry about the show getting too political with the one-off stories, when we already have the issue at hand with the Minister.
