BUCKLE UP PUNK! is a spoof comedy thriller shot on an indie budget. It has a little grindhouse feel going on and only clocks in at an hour in length. The hero is a geeky driving safety teacher who witnesses a hit and run and is then pursued by the punks responsible. This amateurish talk fest drags a lot despite the brief running time, and the featured material is so slight that I wondered what the point of it all was.
