There seems to be some slight progression of Evelyn's character here, shame it comes at the expense of Kyle and shame that her trip away with Zac and Ricky is just an excuse to get them off screen for a bit.It does seem like everyone has forgotten they're meant to be in hiding as Zac and Oscar charge around town quite openly looking for Evelyn and Leah invites Oscar to stay with her despite that being the first place the police will look.
The development of Josh is nicely enigmatic:He's sympathetic but far from whiter than white, as his protecting of Andy demonstrates.We get to see the flip side of Alf going after the smaller fish and Roo's attitude is annoyingly hypocritical.Brax once again seems to be using Josh as his personal punchbag although he comes round in the end, just in time for us to get the first hint of his history with the Barretts. There's a nice role for John as well, from teasing Maddy to visiting Casey.
