Re: the title vignette - They used to call them Roughies in the 1970s, and Pure Taboo is a label that appears to include that category in its content mandate, as evidenced by this mean-spirited scene. Seth Gamble overacts to the nth degree as a stepdad abusing his daughter Demi Hawks.
This abuse is justified (supposedly) in the story because the petite girl has been bullying other girls at school. You don't need to be a degreed psychologist to know that having a parent work against such behavior by abusing the child is dead wrong, making a bad situation worse. Just ask Jeffrey Dahmer's parents (just kidding, I suppose Lizzie Borden's parents would be a better example).
I used some fast forwarding on this scene, not just because it runs at least twice as long as it should but because it is unnecessarily nasty to get the point across. Seth spanks and then rapes his kid and she loves it, but even she (the character as well as the actress Hawks) didn't deserve an extraneous hard slap on the face after the cum shot signals the scene is finally coming to an end.
Of course, this level of violence is included to give Pure Taboo fans/subscribers a cheap thrill -putting some meaning into the word taboo. But constructive criticism time: if they keep this up they're asking for censorship.
In "Why Deprive Yourself", Nicole Kitt's acting is quite good, portraying a young woman who has successfully cured herself of porn addiction, But when her roommate Jay smooth finds out about this backstory, the viewer is treated to his evil grinning for the rest of the episode to telegraph his upcoming bad behavior.
So he predictably brings home a porn magazine and then sends her a dick pic by phone, apologizing for the "mistakes". She believes him, and the show falls apart. Once he's escalated to watching porn in the living room, she gives in, starts masturbating and is ready for sex with this creep.
Right from the outset seven years ago Pure Taboo has set the bar as low as possible regarding credibility of its scenes -the viewer has to accept completely unbelievable behavior by the characters. That's the name of the game here, and it's insulting how obvious Jay's acting is, and how phony the scene is right through to a phony non-ending.
In "For Richer or Poorer", Robby Echo (a/k/a/ Apples) and wife Alison Rey work as house cleaners, and Will Pounder is a client who likes to flirt with Alison on the job, while wimpy Robby can just watch in disgust. He asks his wife not to let guys take advantage of her, but she stridently points out that she has to be extra nice to them because the Apples family is hurting financially and can't afford to offend clients.
Of course in Pure Taboo land, Will ends up f*ckng her, while meanie Alison makes her husband watch. He's thoroughly humiliated and other than pointlessly throwing a mini-tantrum after Alison leaves with Will to go out for a meal together, Robby has to eat sh*t from both of them.
Yet another episode insulting the loyal viewer. After all, fans of Cuckold scenes apparently dig humiliation.
"The Boy Who Cried Step" is a story of a meanie stepsister. It self-destructs, thanks to a very poor script from Penicio Del Toro. Not as stupid as his choice of pen name, but pretty stupid nonetheless.
Max Fills plays a wimpy stepbrother who is constatntly taunted by sis Leana Lovings. She looks awfully cute and innocent, but she delights in tempting and teasing her sibling, daring him to have sex with her.
Max frequently whines to his stepdad Michael Vegas that Mike's daughter mistreating him, but it's her word against his, and daddy always takes his dear daughter's side.
When she finally offers to stop badgering him if he gives in and humps her, Max has to agree, and both really enjoy having taboo sex together. Scripter Penicio Del Toro neglected to write an ending (or a final twist) to the piece, so it ends with a cheerful couple, after he drops his load on her mighty big rump.
