A Peeling We Go-Go (1965)

** (out of 4)

This 8-minute short was directed by the one and only Joseph W. Sarno and features three different women taking their turn in front of the camera and doing their "act." The act of course is a strip tease and for fans of vintage shorts this here should at least keep you entertained. There's certainly nothing ground-breaking here as Sarno pretty much just sets the camera up at the head of the stage and then the girls do their thing. The only actual edit happens during the third act when we get a closer look at the stripper. For the most part all three women are cute enough, although I'd argue that their actual "act" isn't anything overly special or erotic. The jazz score given to the film fits it nicely and at just eight-minutes there's really nothing boring or bad here.

Take it off, ladies!

Warning: Spoilers
This eight minute short consists of three women performing striptease routines on stage. An attractive slender blonde starts things off with a rather lethargic dance. Fortunately the second lass, a fetching and vivacious brunette, proves to be the best of the bunch as she twists and sways her pelvis with utmost sexy and dynamic abandon. The festivities close on a sultry and satisfying note with a curvy Bettie Page type writhing and undulating nicely in a skimpy harem girl outfit. The simple and mostly stationary black and white cinematography is merely functional, although the groovy bebop jazz score hits the swinging spot. An enjoyable diversion.
