This episode came as a breeze of fresh air, i was starting to loose my interest in the series due to last 3 below average episodes. But, this episode manages to rekindle my interest by some pacey execution and up to the mark performances!
Sadly, Krishna is missing from this episode, but the content and performances make up for his lesson's absence. It begins with a good executed scene between Dhritrashtra and Gandhari, which depicts the talent of young Pilot turned actor Thakur Anoop Singh. Whenever he gets screen space he proves he is one of the finest actors in the show and adds justice to his complex character. And, mind you! Dhritrashtra is one of the most complex characters in the poem. The tale continues with a sloppily or hastily directed scene. The director could have done a better job and made the scene a little more convincing. Then to there is a pleasant and a comic surprise waiting for you with a sweet puzzle song and its humpty dumpty performer. After the scene the expressions mustered by Anoop are fitting and impressive. Good work here Mr. Director!
The best part of the episode is its pace. This is actually the pace which is required from every episode where the story seems to move forward, not some slow Anime like filler.
Only drawbacks are an ambiguous and little of dialogue delivery by Mr. Anoop (only a few words), sloppy direction in the "Pandu in the forest scene" and Few facts gone wrong, rest is commendable.
Direction: Good in the first part -Sloppy in the middle -Great in the last and comic part!
Script: Strong!
Acting: Thakur Anoop sing is impressive, Arav, Arun Raina, Riya are Average. Rest of the cast is Ignorable.
Music: Good but the Soapish music element is still present. The puzzle song was good and worth a mention.
