It was decent. I'm not mad I saw it, but I'm not too happy about it.

A disappointment
timlin-43 November 2016
I was looking forward to seeing this based on the plot summary; and things were looking quite good when I started watching and saw that it was a decent quality production; but then the awkward, and at times just plain bad, acting was inflicted on me; and the lame sound effects, which failed at producing any kind of atmosphere; but worst of all was being forced to contemplate the plot, which is just a waste of time. Even with a low budget a haunted apartment movie can be a least somewhat effective, but this one just didn't show any skill. The best that can be said is that it overuses glimpses of figures barely in frame rather than jump scares.

Warning: Spoilers
This one is almost indescribable, but I will give it my best shot. And BE WARNED, there are SPOILERS in here, but you'll eventually thank me for saving your time and money.

First, there is not one THING paranormal about this movie--at least from my POV. The plot is so convoluted, I can't really begin to tell you what it is about, but it is NOT about anything paranormal. From what I got out of it, it was an attempt to tell a story about government spying on everyone. It never tries to explain the whats and whys.

The acting is beyond awful, and even though the movie clocks in at 79 minutes, you'll feel like you've watched 79 HOURS of BS. You are given a couple that have moved to NYC from LA so the guy can pursue a writing career. He is immediately a success at his job, but his girlfriend is constantly harassing him to "come home because she's scared." You don't know what she's scared about and you never will. They go from "I love yous" to "you never got my approval to move here" all in the same scene. You hear a lot of "noise," but what bothered me was I kept asking the same question: Are these people also hearing this noise? The only thing remotely scary in this film is the fact that it hints at a sequel.

I could not tell you what this movie is rated--I think maybe PG-13-- but I can tell you this: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
