Another Episode this Season that's Both Funny and Sweet,
lesleyharris3025 August 2014
Pay Pal is a great Simpsons episode with a well written storyline and a lot of very funny scenes. The episode very much revolves around Lisa and Marge's relationship, which are usually very sweet, and this one is no exception,as we see Marge worrying about Lisa having no real friends.Homer is the comic relief of this episode, and all of his parts were very funny,I particularity liked the scene at the neighbours house. Its not the best episode of the twenty fifth season, but Pay Pal is a very enjoyable episode.

When Homer ruins yet another possible friendship, this time with a new neighbour,Marge starts to worry about Lisa's lack of friends

Quite bad actually.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is kind of like the mini «The Principal and the Pauper» episode, the one thing that finally destroyed the entirety of my interest in Simpsons. The one, simple, thing. It was when grandpa said that Lenny and Carl were Homer's "friends" hired for Homer despite all the episodes when Carl, Lenny and Homer were actually true friends, and not just mercenaries, hired by his dad. I'm suprised, how Homer even reacts to this disaster in his style of: "Meh". And in the second episode of season 9, it was practically the same, except with Skinner and this fakking "Armin Tamzarian". In fact, this episode singlehandedly destroyed the show, and regarding another episode of Simpsons, called "Homer's Enemy", it ended it in the perfect way, with the final masterpiece of the greatest TV show ever. Going back to this one, it wasn't trash, but this scene I mentioned earlier will be another reason not to watch modern Simpsons. Solid 2.
