I created an account just to 1-star this movie. The only reason anyone is giving it good reviews is because doing so makes them feel smarter than they really are. This is the cinematic version of abstract art. I sat through God's not Dead and Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas, but couldn't make it though Tree or Life. It wasn't all for nothing though because it's still an inside joke with the buddy I walked out of the theater with. "On a scale of 1 to 'Tree of Life' where would you rank Ad Astra?" Good bonding experience that we will laugh about for years to come.

A Dreadful dreadful film!

Having see the film I still have no idea what it was about. The only comment I can really give is that my 88 year old grandfather described this as the worst film he had ever seen. With almost 9 decades experience I can only agree.
