Johnny Cash needs no introduction, being one of the pioneers of "modern" country and folk music, and an inspiration to all pop and rock singers. And whilst the "biopic" I walk the line, with Joaquin Phoenix, is ever a worthwhile and incredible drama on its own - it is always interesting with a straight documentary about it all.
And, for its short run time, it indeed delivers very splendidly. It is all conveyed in a low key, unique style, consisting of interviews, chronicles and overall very nice pacing, with some splendid music classics from the legendary singer.
Very well paced, cut and edited. Highly recommended for any fans of Johnny Cash, and for fans of a good doc overall!
