Rachel tossed her career down the drain for a TV part she may not get. It is not a guarantee that she will get it. She already had her dream for Broadway and got into NYADA, why mess it up? She wanted Broadway and would leave Finn to pursue it. Finn also pushed her to do it too. If Finn found out, he probably would have felt let down. Mr. Shue would have something to say because they knew it was her dream and messing it up. Kurt said it for them. If she wanted to mess it up, she should have gotten married and college in Lima, not try for her dreams. No big loss. The show could have done without her going to LA and just having her decide between the play or NYADA, letting daily life and problems creep in.the story still could continue with the TV exec, but in Ny.

This episode was a hard one to watch and had me yelling at my screen throughout. Seeing rachel throw everything away is excruciating to watch since we've seen everything she's gone through in the prior seasons. Great acting but the anger I felt throughout this entire episode was immaculate. We've gotten great episodes this season but they're all incredibly emotional and get you in the heart.
