Bloody Excellent. I totally enjoyed the first series of Game of Stones and am REALLY hoping that they go to the efforts of making a second series for our benefit. Sure, it's got a B-Grade skin but in the most excellent, fantastic way. Despite the skin, the people seem totally real and totally legit. You'll get hooked on this. Especially if you like stones! The team travel all over the world to the most dangerous and precarious places and situations chasing amazing gemstones. There's always a bit of adventure and drama. And always an outcome weather they shatter the half-million dollar stone they have found or they cut a perfect gem.

It's great. Don't worry about the critics who dis it. Watch a few episodes. It's awesome.

I hate it when every one thinks staging is a good idea would be better if you made the show normally I would watch it It so obvious when you watch Now it makes me not watch it.

This is one of my top 10 favorite shows because I like the characters and how they are able to get these gems that don't look like the best at the beginning and then it is cut and it looks fabulous. I can't wait for the next season and it couldn't start soon enough. I like that they don't always get the gem that they were initially after and then they score with another gem. There should be more episodes in the season. I hope there will be many more seasons. The characters work really well with each other. There are some really rare gems and some really pure gems shown on this show! I highly recommend that people watch this show and I will recommend it to my friends and family.

Sorry, but this comes across like a really bad Vin Diesel movie (the main character reminds me of him). I watched the first episode and will not be watching any more. This is no more than a 'B' grade movie and it's time wasted you will never, ever get back. It's re-enacted, over acted, and over dramatized. The dramatic scenes are in no way believable. Pirates searching the boat they are on without opening the hold hatch, where they would see them all just sitting there, no attempt to hide at all. Not to mention they were all sitting on the boat in plain sight as the pirates were approaching anyway. Walking through a 'minefield' which I'm sure the producers of the show would have thoroughly researched to know where the safe areas were to film in. After all the first episode was set in Cambodia. And if you have any knowledge of gems and crystals, you'll realize it's total crap by the very first show, when they try to make you believe hundreds of rough rubies can be heat treated and individually faceted in a week. If you're looking for a bit more reality, I would suggest "Prospectors" and "Gem Hunt".

Why does discover ruin every show that had the potential to be good?? Ice cold gold,, opal hunters,, axe men, gold rush, etc. Etc.... all ruined with this fake BS that is insulting to your intelligence.

I watched most of the first episode and threw in the towel. Fake pirates. Fake mine fields. Fake ruby mine visits by armed guards. And all the while these buyers are hiding in plain sight where a blind man could see them. JUST SHOW THEM BUYING GEMS!! That i would keep watching. Don't waste your time with this unless your are a sucker for fake soap opera grade drama that is completely unnecessary.
