Scarlett Johansson and Marvel Studios are both keen for a Black Widow movie. The hold up? Scheduling...
Since she debuted the character back in Iron Man 2, there’s been chatter about Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow getting a standalone movie of her own. And whilst Marvel is finally pressing ahead with a female-led comic book movie with 2019’s Captain Marvel, there’s still no sign of that standalone Black Widow adventure.
In a new chat with Total Film, Scarlett Johansson has addressed this, and confirmed that there remains interest in getting the Black Widow movie made.
“I’ve talked to [Marvel Studios boss] Kevin Feige about it”, she said. “We’re creatively really compatible. I think we both agree that the character is right for a standalone, it’s just a case of timing at this point for both Marvel and myself. Marvel has a really huge roster. They...

For longtime Lrm readers, last night's announcement that Ben Affleck was stepping down as director of The Batman was anything but a surprise. Hell, this story goes back to when we were still simply Latino-Review!
It all started when we reported one of our infamous Hot Rumors on June 19, 2014. In that report, we shared with the world that we had confidential sources telling us that Affleck wasn't only signed up for acting duties when he signed on to join the Dceu (which was the big story at the time), we had it on good authority that he would also be directing a solo movie, and that it would be called The Batman. This was almost three years ago, when none of this was publicly known.
For whatever reason, Affleck and Warner Bros. refused to go public with what we reported until almost two years later! While we reported on June...

There's a brand spankin' new trailer for the upcoming comedy Fist Fight, and this one's a doozy. It's Red Band, so you know that it won't be pulling any punches- literally or figuratively- as it gives you the latest taste of what to expect when Ice Cube and Charlie Day face off later this month.
You can check out the all-new Red Band trailer for Fist Fight right here:
Ice Cube and Charlie Day star as high school teachers prepared to solve their differences the hard way. On the last day of the school year, mild-mannered high school English teacher Andy Campbell (Day) is trying his best to keep it together amidst outrageous senior pranks, a dysfunctional administration and budget cuts that are putting his job on the line just as his wife is expecting their second baby. But things go from bad to worse when Campbell crosses the school...

Tom Hardy confirms he's waiting for the call on Mad Max: The Wasteland...
It took a long time to get 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road to the big screen, the movie that set aside three months after production simply so they could watch the material they’d shot. It was worth it, though: George Miller’s film is arguably the best blockbuster of the past two to three years. But those plans for a fifth movie (and possibly a sixth), Mad Max: The Wasteland, haven’t really advanced. It was to be a prequel to the Mad Max story thus far, and Tom Hardy was linked with reprising his Fury Road role.
Panic not though, assured Hardy. This isn’t a case of missing presumed dead. Chatting to Collider, he said “I’m anxiously waiting to find out”, when quizzed about more Mad Max.
