An Exciting Twist on Christmas Tradition!
pickledferret15 November 2014
What could be better than Santa and elves? Santa and ferrets, of course! This is a darling comedy spotlighting a fun little family, featuring all the excitement that comes with Christmas Eve with visions of "ferrets" dancing in the kids' heads! This movie is an instant classic and will be brought out year after year to watch as our new Christmas tradition. The actors were awesome, the ferrets were even more awesome and even the dog was awesome! You just can't beat this storyline for an entertaining, hilarious and magical movie to enjoy over a meal with family! Way to go Alison Parker and Company! PS. You may want to order a couple of extra copies for all the kids & grandkids stockings this year!

Captivating from start to finish

I watched this movie with a toddler and a 4 year old, they were enthralled from start to finish. This movie has it all, family, love, joy, children and animals!!!!The ferrets are wonderful, clever and endearing. Everything about this short movie says quality Christmas movie. I want to say more but I think it would be best if you watch it yourself, you won't be disappointed....There are hilarious extras which show how much the creators and actors enjoyed making Santa's Little Ferrets..I have been a fan of movies which have featured ferrets as part of their storyline and have thoroughly enjoyed them all, however this movie has created a standard of ferret involvement which has not been achieved before.Looking forward to the next movie.

Love it!!

great family movie with so many Aaaawwww cute moments and OMG laughter moments. Would recommend for anyone who loves watching cute funny animal holiday movies :) this movie will leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling that will carry you through the holidays well. For those viewers who already have ferrets this movie will leave you in stitches because we all know what ferrets are like. And for those viewers who do not own ferrets you will be left wanting one, which brings me to a great feature the message with the movie regarding how much care is involved with being a ferret parent. So again I would say if you love a great family movie for the holidays this one should definitely be at the top of your watch list

Excellent Family Christmas Entertainment

I just watched Santa's Little Ferrets with my five year old niece. We both loved it. My niece had never heard of ferrets before and she thought they were adorable - especially when they were scampering around in their Christmas bow ties. Kudos to the writers for coming up with an original, heartwarming story that appeals to a broad audience. The goofy, inventive dad reminded me of Dick Van Dyke's character in the classic kids movie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I thought the actors were perfectly cast for their roles and delivered authentic performances. I'm not sure who was more adorable, the ferrets or the actors who played the brother and sisters. The musical score and special effects added to the Christmas magic feel. I'm already looking forward to watching it again next Christmas with my niece.

Distinct lack of ferrets

We bought this as a present for our kids, who have both kept ferrets and found them lovable and amusing pets. We had high expectation of these short films based on the previews of ferrets playing.

What a disappointment! The short films are dull, clichéd stories that wouldn't keep the attention of a 5 years old. The acting is wooden and the dialogue poor. Worst of all... HARDLY ANY FERRETS! In a 20 minutes short, there could be at most 2-3 minutes of the ferrets. This DVD was bought to see them, NOT wooden acting and lumpy dialogue.

Major disappointment. You can find far funnier and interesting clips of ferrets on YouTube. Just avoid this.
