ATOM MAN VS. MARTIAN INVADERS is perhaps Donald F. Glut's most well-mounted homemade short yet. The story tells of an epic fight between the titular hero and a Martian invasion force spearheaded by the beautiful Melody Raber. Unlike Glut's earlier pictures, invariably shot in his Chicago basement, this one was filmed in the Californian desert and features plentiful action and cheesy effects. It's fittingly engaging for the era it was made.
