This episode should be divided in two parts. One, following the fight of last episodes. Minato is moved by his son's words, remembering Kushina, and rubs the tears on his eyes. He feels like he could do anyhting with his son, despite the situation, he realizes is the same sensation like when he was with Kushina. Then, Naruto allows Kurama's transformation, moves forward eager to fight, but Tobirama reminds him that ninjutsu won't work against Obito. He hopes that he's not that fool. Naruto suddenly remembers, so Tobirama says that he is foolest than his brother. Kurama laughs and teases Naruto, saying that he surpassed the previous Hokages, on certain way. Naruto is slightly offended, but the Fox tells him not to worry, and tells that he still can be on Sennin mode while on Nine Tails Fox mode. He reminds him that even if he didn't realize, when he talked to Nagato, Naruto was on Sennin mode and for a brief time, he allowed him to use his chakra (his eyes were red with toad feature). Naruto then remembers that while training with Fukasaku, the Kyuubi kicked the old toad away. Kurama tells that he didn't want to share space with a frog, and also intended him to rely on his power instead of senjutsu. Naruto starts teasing him for playing to be rough and stubborn, so Kurama tells him that this time he'll allow him to enter Sennin mode while transformed, and also shouts at him in anger for abusing his trust. The other Kurama also offers his help to Minato, to support the other, so both end up transforming. They create a huge Rasengan, combined with natural energy from senjutsu, and Tobirama teleports them to Obito's location inisde the barrier. They are able to strike him, but Obito, despite some struggle, blocks the attack with the black substance. The 2nd guesses that he read the attack, and Hiraishin is not useful now. Naruto then tries to form a Bijuu dama combined with natural energy, with the other Kurama's help. This time, Tobirama praises Naruto, thinking that he may become a great Hokage after all. Minato again feels the sensation of Kushina, and sees her shadow next to their son. Sasuke watches stunned from afar, while seeing how much Naruto has progressed, as he is able to dominate so much chakra. He feels frustrated, without knowing why his former teammate got so far. Obito decides that he must act quickly, and the evnts take a new horrible turn. This part was very good overall. Seeing Minato remembering Kushina, feeling that she is somehow in Naruto, in the way he is, in the way he acts, is emotive. The comic situations caused by Naruto's foolish attitude, Tobirama's seriousness, Kurama's new trustful personality, are a good combination. Serves to balance the drama and action of the episode. Probably feels that the other characters are left aside, but their moments passed and will come. Minato and Tobirama's presence is limited by the Edo Tensei. The deal of combining senjutsu with Kurama's mode is hard to imagine, so I guess the natural energy is added to the Rasengan, or the Bijuu dama, whatever it takes to make the power different. With all this, the episode was going great. At some point, Obito must be defeated. But what comes next, brings down the storyline in many ways.

Part two, when Myths become reality. Obito unleashes the Juubi, which becomes a huge tree with several roots and branches, and starts collecting chakra from all the shinobis around after the barrier is retired. Madara is surprised that Obito already wants to begin the Tsukuyomi. People run away and die after their energy is absorbed, B runs away while Gyuki tells him that the tree is Shinju, the God tree, aware that he has more chakra than the others. They realize that Naruto's cloak now is useless. Hashirama asks his rival what is happening, so Madara explains what he learned, supposedly from the Uchiha's old stone: Long time ago people didn't know anything about chakra, and they fought each other constantly. The persons adored the God tree, considered divine, but one day a fruit appeared. That happened once a thousand years (yet he doesn't know the meaning), but tradition said was forbidden to touch it. Still, one day, a princess named Kaguya took and consumed the fruit, and with new divine powers won the war herself. She was the first human to use chakra. Eventually, she had a son who inherited her powers. But the god tree enraged after the fruit was taken, and tried to recover it, that was the Juubi. Hagoromo Otsutsuki, Kaguya's son, stopped him. He was the ancester of all ninjas, the one who invented ninjutsu, who revealed the secrets of chakra, the Rikudo Sennin. Anyway, the Juubi now is simply trying to recover what belongs to him, the chakra. When Hashirama asks what happened after the person consumed the fruit to stop the war, Madara says that actually nothing. Wars became more frequent, bloodied, and hatred spread through the world even more. That's what ninjas represent according Madara. He tells that the only way to end this is by trusting the god tree, the genjutsu. Hashirama realizes that this was the new dream he talked about, yet Madara says it was slightly different. When the bud at the top of the tree flourish, the eye inside the flower will reflect on the moon, and the infinite Tsukuyomi will begin. But he's going to do that. In the meantime, Naruto is caught by the tree, Tobirama tries to save him, but there are many branches. Minato can't use the Hiraishin because the last one and the branches drained his chakra. Suddenly, Naruto is saved by the forgotten Hiruzen, now complete, who takes him back with the other Hokages. Tobirama teleports them to safety. As the branches begin to stop the chase and become quiet, Sasuke and Jugo, Ino and Choji are shown to be ok. Sai is next to Sakura, seemingly unconcious, while Katsuyu asks if she is fine. B is calmer after using Samehada to cut several branches. The aftermath is an horror, Obito tells them to stay like this, they resisted enough. This second part of the episode damages the storyline. The whole myth serves as a good explanation to where the chakra came from, but the rest is unbelievable. First, is a little biblical, a princess takes and eats the forbidden divine fruit (Genesis). Tempted to stop the wars, and become the most powerful human ever. If the fruit was forbidden, then why the tree didn't defend itself, and protected it? Why was there? That's why when a fictional story adds mythological and religious themes, usually takes a turn for worst. I don't buy it. Casually, Kaguya had a son who defeated the Juubi, who knows how. Casually, the tree waited decades to go and recover the fruit. Casually, Hagoromo's father is left in the dark. And despite all the wars, he had a long life, and left tons of generations that inherited the chakra, ninjutsu, whatever. No way. And casually, the story of all this was in the Uchiha's stone. Then, there are other things to observe. First, Hiruzen is back, so that means Obito doesn't affect Edo Tensei at all. Madara knew this, Hashirama won't disappear, hence, Minato should have his arm back. Second, the tree suddenly stopped its fury, how convenient. What was that for? To reduce the amount of shinobis? If no known character will die, then there's no point. If B has a full reserve of energy, would be logical for the tree to recover his chakra. But no, he's alive and kicking. Nothing makes sense, even though Obito ordered the tree to stop. Besides, I prefer several characters to remain alive, Naruto, Sakura, Shikamaru, Choji, Ino, Temari, Darui, and others. This fantasy has gone too far. If it wasn't for the first part of the episode, I'd rate lower than 5. Animation deserves a remark, but the writing at the end was terrible.
