It represents a sort of experience for the viewer. Because the most important are the silence scenes. A mother, her little boy, a venerable German lady in the train. The cinematography, the clash of the words in the two languages, the looks are pieces of intense tension. Because their status is to remind old experiences, painful, deep present in collective memory. A film as a sort of silence circle. With hopeful, beautiful end.
