What was it about? Hard to know except that it wasn't exactly a story about love unless if we think about love for destruction. The girl played by Terry Paternoster
abruptly ends her relationship with her boyfriend (Gianluca Preite) without much of a reasoning except she can't stand being around him, and it comes to a hysterical
point of yelling and wanting him out. Later on, her roommate (Irma Carolina Di Monte) arrives with her boyfriend (Salvatore Langella) and they all look very much in love,
much to the annoyance of the tormented girl who also want them out of the place if they become too intimate together. They don't oblige and the rest is pure horror, and an
inner reasoning for the acts is told by the lead character.
Salvatore Langella's short film is a tense, mysterious and edgy dramatic thriller that has its fair share of horrific moments. As a dramatic exercise it doesn't add much to anything because filling the blanks for motives and characters motivations does not work; a little more dialogue would benefit the film's quality. It's intriguing and leaves us curious in wanting more, that's a good point and makes a good case for a potential feature film. Langella has great sense for visual and editing, brilliantly executed in the love scene between the happy people, very erotic and artsy without excessive appeal. And he delivers a great deal of suspense the more the story evolves; direction of actors goes okay.
For those reasons, and not going beyond to avoid spoiling the experience, I find it a good project that you should see. 6/10
