Powerful and perceptive
pgham1 November 2015
This short film leaves a lasting impression as it unravels a penetrating insight into the imbalance of power. The setting appears to be an everyday space in the woods to hang out, and this off the beaten track setting adds to the feeling of menace. The direction is intelligent and the film has a somewhat unconventional and vivid approach to it's topic. Clearly the writer has an intuitive grasp of the subject matter as the film gently delves into the psychological nature of it's theme. If you are interested in emotional intelligence and the complexities of human behavior, this is a film for you. I understand this film is the curtain raiser to a feature film, and I recommend (like me) you watch out for its release.
