Endlich Deutsch! is a show ahead of its time. Who would have thought that Germany would experience this immigrant crisis and be dealing with hordes of unintelligible Muslims?
One of the few shows that improves with repeat viewings.
There was one character in particular that caught my eye. A young Muslim woman struggling to speak the language. Her family was dysfunctional. An absentee father, an overbearing mother and a mentally unstable brother (ISIS candidate?). But somehow this strong woman manages to cope. I hope we get to see her again in future seasons. I have been thoroughly inspired by her.
