There's some good scenes of both Alf and Chris supporting Spencer, referencing a relationship that's been largely neglected since Spencer moved in with Irene.Emerson has some decent stuff but Spencer makes trouble for himself, too ashamed to admit the truth about Keith.
The John/Jett storyline looks like it's setting up for another misunderstanding with someone worried about hurting someone else's feeling.Pleasingly though, both John and Jett are happy for him to start calling him "Dad", although it's going to take a lot of getting used to.
In between the low key debut of Ash, as yet another tough-looking character turning up looking for Brax, we're treated to some amazing silliness as Hannah and Sophie fight over Nate while the man himself does the silliest thing a medical man could do, gets out of bed with a gaping chest wound and internal bleeding, and predictably collapses.
