The Gotham Bat versus Penguin and Prometheus: A splendid original piece!

This fan film got less credit than it deserved. Other than a few issues concerning sound (and lets face it: sound is probably the hardest aspect when shooting), Jonathon Glickman, Curtis Hadley and Jack Dalton have created a very fine piece, which has been generally positively received, despite the reception of keyboard warriors with their nit-picking. Batman: The Shattered Cowl has all the elements of a Batman film we look out for and admire: A good story showing Bruce Wayne as not a Marty Stu type hero, but actually somewhat of a rookie. The villains were well cast, the supporting cast were especially terrific, particularly Jack Roberts' performance as Clinton Baptiste (an original character) and Daniel Brazier with a fresh new take on Alfred Pennyworth.

As aforementioned, apart from a few sound issues, what's not to love? That's why I'm giving this a 7/10. With improved sound and slightly better picture quality for just so me scenes, I would have given a solid 8!
