Penultimate episode of the season means a cavalcade of characters, to the point that some get cut out.The stuff back in the Bay is full of good and not so good character moments:Evelyn is annoying as ever and the rules as to how can and can't know about Maddy's cancer are getting ever more confused. There's a good bonding moment between Chris and Spencer, and an even better one between Zac and VJ.And Sasha has a nice realisation.
It's the stuff away from the Bay where the real drama lies but it's hard to get worked up about the Nate and Sophie stuff when they're the only people involved and the whole thing is down to Nate being an idiot: If he'd played it sensibly rather than going off on his own, this would all be sorted out.
Phoebe's situation is more intriguing, especially with her showing her mentor side with Matt, and Andy and Ash as hired muscle.Neive's intentions are becoming ever more nebulous and it'll be interesting to see how it goes.
